charming stay!
beautiful hall excellent bathroom convenient metro
the hotel had a beautiful entrance hall and staircase. my room on the 4th floor, room 43, included an excellent bathroom. the metro lapa is nearby on the e line, it runs between the airport and the city centre, very convenient. the staff were genuinely nice.

The hotel is situated in a reasonably quiet area, and i found good cafes and restaurants close by. It is not in the very center of tourist activity! this allowed for a more peaceful experience, while still remaining close to the center.

the room was functional and adequate. the shower was excellent, and i found the room to be clean, though, the carpet seemed a little tired.

charming stay
original design modern fixture unique feature
the hotel has maintained much of its original design. bathrooms are excellent, offering modern fixtures. rooms on the upper floors have unique architectural features. i found little touches, such as the complimentary pastries and fruit near reception were nice.
the carpet in my room had some stains, requiring a deep cleaning.

the room i stayed in was spacious, providing ample space for relaxation. the bed was comfortable, guaranteeing restful nights. i had a lovely view from the room. it featured air conditioning which was great.

breakfast included a selection of fruits, juices, yogurts, and pastries. there was also a selection of cheeses and meats. the hotel provides complimentary pastries and fruit near reception. wifi worked very well.
